In their own words
Plato's Cave Productions is a club dedicated to expanding the accessibility of student filmmaking on Amherst campus. We provide equipment and funding for students looking to make films, and form a community of filmmakers and people interested in film production. Plato's Cave aims to produce several student written, directed, acted, and otherwise created each semester. Plato's Cave also aims to be a place where people can learn about filmmaking through workshops and training in areas including camerawork, editing, and equipment use.
