In their own words

oSTEM is a non-profit professional association for LGBTQ+ people in the STEM community. With over 100 student chapters at colleges/universities and professional chapters in cities across the United States and abroad, oSTEM is the largest chaper-based organization focused on LGBTQ+ people in STEM. Our Amherst College chapter is devoted to creating a safe space for discussion about LGBTQ+ identities in STEM, as well as speaking about our collective experiences in our fields of choice. We hope to foster a community for the intersection between STEM students and LGBTQ+ students.
