Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students

The Minority Association of Premedical Students (MAPS) is an extension of the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) committed to increasing the number of clinically excellent, culturally competent and socially conscious physicians in the healthcare space. The purpose of MAPS is to provide underrepresented/underserved students with the knowledge, skills, and experience that are both prerequisite and essential to professional participation in health care fields. To accomplish this, we aim to provide members with various benefits like mentorship/network opportunities at regional and national conferences, international health research and volunteering opportunities, discounted MCAT study materials, and scholarship opportunities.
