Spectra

Spectra aims to build community among physics, astronomy, and biophysics majors, to empower underrepresented groups within these majors, to promote active communication between students and professors in these fields in order to improve student satisfaction with the majors, and to promote interest in these fields. We accomplish these goals through weekly community-building events and a weekly lunch in Val with the physics and astronomy department weekly colloquium speaker. We also provide events to support students in these fields, including mentorship events, study sessions, and internship panels.
