Rugby Football Club

The Amherst College Rugby Football Club has been present at Amherst for over 60 years, making it one of the oldest collegiate rugby clubs in the US. A member of the New England Rugby Football Union, the ACRFC participates in both 15s and 7s competitions. Members join the team with various levels of previous rugby experience, with some having played their whole lives, while many have never engaged with the sport at all before; together, we are united in our goal of relentlessly improving ourselves and our team. We compete in both the fall and spring semesters, hold social events, and participate in a variety of off-season and off-field activities. Beginners, newcomers, our anyone else that would like to join or support our team should email rugby@amherst.edu, and we look forward to welcoming you into our organization.
